I think one of the best places to forage is by the coast – if I had to survive entirely off the land, I’d set up camp here. You can find a large number of plants all year round, some being evergreen and others have adapted to being salt tolerant and the salt in the air can stop winter temperatures dropping too low. Such plants are things like sea beet, sea purslane, Alexanders, rock samphire and saltbush.
